Summer Camps ages 6-8
This year we are partnering with Snapology of Glen Allen to offer you a full day camp option for kids 6 to 12 years of age. All camps will take place at "The Garage" at Christ Church Episcopal​ in Glen Allen. The first part of the day will be dedicated to STEAM activities, and the afternoon to Spanish. Participants should bring their own nut-free packed lunch.

8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. - Snapology's Engineering Favorites
Is your student inquisitive, a problem-solver, a big-thinker, a tinkerer, a puzzler, or a budding engineer? If so, they’ll love this compilation of fan-favorite engineering projects like go karts, battle tops, merry-go-rounds, go karts, grabbers and more! This program gives your child the tools they need to understand mechanical movement through the foundations of simple machines, physics, and engineering design in fun, hands-on projects. They will see moving parts up-close as they follow instructions to build various machines, then use the models to develop new design ideas, test out physics concepts, and even play games with their partners. Whether they are the creative-constructive type or prefer the inquisitive-deconstructive way of learning, this program is sure to spark their interests!
11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. - Lunch
12:30 to 3:30 p.m. - TLH Spanish Immersion
In our Spanish immersion program, children will be surrounded by Spanish in a fun and interactive way.
We will be playing games, sing songs, read books and more! Students will be encouraged to ask questions in Spanish, and through repetition they will get exposed to the daily vocabulary.
So many fun activities are awaiting them!
